*NGC offered a special designation for coins featuring King Charles III to celebrate the coronation of the monarch of the United Kingdom. Charles acceded the throne on September 8, 2022 following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. On May 6, 2023, he and his wife, Camilla, took part in the historic coronation ceremony, as he was anointed and crowned.

Coins featuring Charles III that are received by NGC’s Florida headquarters between May 1 and May 31, 2023 were eligible for a special designation of Coronation Releases. Coins with the Coronation Releases designation will be listed separately in the NGC Census.
