The Transparent Drive is a Jan Ray overdrive clone pedal that delivers clean boost and singing sustain without any unwanted artifacts or unnatural compression but can also open up like a driven 60's Blackface. The Jan Ray reproduces sustaining, punchy, clear tones of the blackface Fender amps from the 60's. The tone is crispy yet the low is warm and mellow. Used independently or stacked, this pedal works great with other overdrives.
