We are pleased to present an antique pocket watch by Hebdomus, a Swiss watchmaker founded in 1888.
This is a typical Hebdomus pocket watch with 8-day winding.
It features an enamel dial decorated with flowers, also known as a flower clock, and a visible balance.
It has a sterling silver silver side case with a military style dial.
It was just overhauled in July 2022 and the movement is in good working order.
The case: well cared for as an antique with some age-related wear, minor scratches and dents.
Case engraving: There is an import hallmark on the inside of the back cover from a British assay certificate.
The dial is in beautiful condition with no cracks and no lettering, although the luminous paint on the indexes is peeling off.
Accuracy: Time grapher on a flat surface, within 1 minute difference per day.
Power reserve: 6 days or more from full spring.
The watch comes with a warranty certificate for the overhaul in July 2022.
(The day difference depends on the posture and winding condition of the mainspring, so please consider it as a reference only.
As the watch is very old, we do not know the history of parts replacement or repair.
