TIP 1 -

If punch mechanism appears a little stiff and sticks, due to storage time,

just apply a couple of drops of vegetable oil via the mechanism underneath.

This helps to lubricate the working parts, 

and this should correct the problem.

Tip 2

If punch does not cut correctly

Try cutting a piece of tin foil a few times as this will help to sharpen the cutting blades
