Vintage 1920s The Trinity Cruising Case Hat Box Shoe Box.

This most beautiful hat shoe case box is a very rare find.The only other one that I have found is in THE MUSEUM OF SOUTH TARANAKI   NEW ZEALAND.

This beautiful case is from the 1930's and would have been used on a cruise liner for  ladies hats and deck shoes.

It is lined in an original blue silk? fabric that has a watermark pattern throughout.

There are 8 Compartments for shoes and a large horseshoe shaped area for sun hats.

It is in superb original condition

It has a flat base to stand upright

But sadly no key

The case weighs..2.5 kg

Width to base ...43 cms

Height...29 cms

It is light enough to travel with

in this day and age and would grace any of our cruise liners.Definately a talking point as it is so rare.

Patent number...414460

It had Foreign and Colonial patents pending

The outside is a dark navy complimenting  the fabulous pale blue interior.

It has 2 locks with AUTO TENSION on both locks

The sturdy handle is covered in the same material
