[48], 532; cxiv, [6], 13, [3] pp., including engraved title vignette and 11 full-page engraved plates included in pagination, numerous woodcut initials, text in red and black.


Period boards elaborately gilt and later rebacked.

Laid in at front is a manuscript containing three stanzas of verse in Latin, 19th c.

Binding with corners and edges chipped, intact but worn.  Gilt edge.

Mostly clean but with occasional marginal finger-soiling , 2 leaves detached but present, occasional light foxing, a few leaves with closed tears (including a couple of long tears), several marginal chips.
