Title: THE LOVELIEST JEWEL OF ALL
Artist: Billy DeVorss. DeVorss used an incredible variety of pastel colors for his work, and he applied them directly onto the board, blending them dry with his fingers. His occasional oil paintings bear the rich, painterly brush-strokes of the Sundblom School. De Vorss always worked from live models for the final painting. His vibrant pin-ups, inspired by New York's theaters and nightclubs, display a fine sense of composition, a flowing, graceful line, and a daring blend of colors.
Size: The image is 7-1/2" x 10" inches with a total size of approximately 9-1/2” x 12” with the border.
Date: This Lithograph print was published in 1999. Year of the original print was 1938. Printed on acid free matte stock (blank on the opposite side).
