This is a clock which I purchased as a kitchen clock (I think in the '90's) but could be used wherever it fits! The outer rim color is a slate grey and it has a gold colored band around the inside and outside of the rim. I think the birds are bluebirds. The section between the rim and the clock face is actually clear and will pick up whatever color it is placed on. I have tested it with a new battery and it works fine. The clock can be taken apart for cleaning by unscrewing a few screws on the back
