VINTAGE Pair of NAPCO Ceramic Baseball Catcher Shape Planters Bookends #J-5513

This is a VINTAGE pair of Napco ceramic planters made in Japan in 1962.  The planters (or can be used as bookends) are in the shape of a baseball catcher (as they were dressed in 1962) and are model #J-5513.  Each is hand painted and bears the Napco logo on the bottom.  They are each 4.25 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall.  The planter portion is small, and is good for a small plant, bonsai or succulent.  They are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with no chips, cracks or scratches.  The glaze has some crazing, and the hand painted design is slightly worn in a few areas.  In all, they are beautiful!
