A set of 3 tea towels designed by the creative team at Anabel Trends, an Australian Company designing and manufacturing a line of ever changing and interesting home goods. These linen, screen printed tea towels are true vintage, dating from the 1970s. The theme is musical, with illustrations including copies of the musical score in black and white from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons Violin Concerto”.published 1825 in Amsterdam.
Looking at the illustrations of the walking minstrel on the one tea towel, I believe this is a copy from an antique print, reminiscent of illustrations dating from the 1800s .Two of the tea towels show copies of the actual musical score and the third shows the walking minstrel, with musical instruments attached to his belt, plus one on his head and the musical score under his nose, so that he can read it!
Never used and in perfect condition, with no age marks or stains, they will make a unique gift for some lucky person and will also look stunning framed and hanging on the wall. New tea towels are selling for $19.95 each — these are very fairly priced, considering they are vintage in perfect condition.
