This is a one of a kind situation. The book is an advance uncorrected proof copy that was sent to Lieutenant General Richard Trefry along with a letter from John Alexander requesting Gen. Trefry's endorsement of the book to place on the jacket when released, hopefully as a sales booster. The letter is typed and signed by Alexander, who was a friend Trefry's. Letter is wrinkled at corners and was folded . Book has a sticker residue stain on cover s well as a fold style crease down cover center which leaves an impression through the first handful of pages. Some pencil numbers on first front facing end page. This some of the numerous books I acquired from the library of Trefry. See pics for general condition. I am not a professional book seller or grader so please examine the pics. Great piece for collectors.
