The AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) was a desktop processor with 6 cores, launched in May 2010. It is part of the Phenom II X6 lineup, using the Thuban architecture with Socket AM3. Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) has 6MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.8 GHz by default, but can boost up to 3.3 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) on a 45 nm production process using 904 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Phenom II X6 1055T (95W), which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 95 W, the Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) consumes a good deal of power, so decent cooling is needed. AMD's processor supports DDR2 and DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface.
