From 28. In June 1981, Schimanski began his duties as chief detective in Duisburg and marked a turning point in the line of straightforward crime scene detectives. The “Ruhrpott Rambo” brought a breath of fresh air and was even compared to James Bond. He became the German action hero for a generation that only knew peace and consumption instead of war and obedience. For the first time, a detective was shown who had no daily rhythm, who cursed, fought, drank more than moderate amounts of alcohol, made currywurst a staple diet and revealed his womanizing stories without inhibition.

Six years after Horst Schimanski ended his service at the Duisburg police, senior public prosecutor Ilse Bonner brought him back. A bloody gang feud runs through the Ruhr area. But his friend and ex-colleague Thanner was also murdered. This is just the beginning of Schimanski's comeback. As expected, the gruff Ruhrpott detective can solve the case in his own unique way and is repeatedly used - more or less legally - for investigations. Schimanski is initially supported by Tobias Schrader and later by Chief Inspector Hunger. In 1991, Götz George voluntarily gave up his service weapon and badge and disappeared as a “crime scene” inspector.

At first it looks like a classic family tragedy: a man who has just become unemployed kills his closest relatives before killing himself. The Cat (1987)

The only thing that connects them is their violent sexual relationship. Nothing else. Her name is Jutta and she is the wife of a bank branch manager. He calls himself Probek and is a bank robber. The Gate of Fire

The former BND agent works as a bodyguard for Dr. Christian Sander, the chairman of the Arms Control Commission of the German Bundestag. After a press conference, shots suddenly rang out. Kowa kills a man in the firefight. But, as it turns out, he was a bodyguard for the BKA. Kowa is suddenly suspected of murder; Nobody believes him that the victim had previously threatened Sander, who is on the trail of the dark machinations of German companies in the Middle East. The only ray of hope in this hopeless situation is Kowa's daughter Hanna. Hanna wants to help her father by bringing a microfilm with incriminating material against BND employees to Sander.
