Do you want to be able to enjoy your espresso machine longer? You can enjoy a lot of good coffees for a long time when you maintain the device in the right way. A big part of proper maintenance is cleaning the device. Make sure you clean the device regularaly when you use it a lot. A water filter protects your espresso machine as well, because it counteracts the deposition of lime. The use of a water filter ensures a reduction of water impurities such as chlorine, lead or copper. Additionally a water filter ensures good aroma development for maximum coffee experience. This water filter is especially suitable for the Solis Barista Perfetta Plus espresso machine. We recommend to replace the water filter every 2 months.
1) Remove the water tank and discard the present water and filter. Check if the reservoir is clean.
2) Fill the reservoir with drinkwater and hold the new filter upside down for half a minute to a minute in the water. This is very important because this ensures that the air bubbles from the water filter can escape.
3) Attach the new filter in the water reservoir and insert the reservoir back into the machine.
4) Tap some cups of water through the steam pipe before enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.
