This is a commemorative silver on bronze medal which has been mounted into a tray.

These were presented to members of the Blues and Royals Cavalry Regiment.

The coin depicts the Cavalry's Horse Sefton who was seriously injured in the Hyde Park Bombings in 1982.

After the bombing Sefton recovered and continued his duties with the Regiment and was subsequently named Horse Of The Year.

This medal was designed by Designed by Terence Cuneo and was released to the general public in coin form.  As far as I know the trays were only issued to the Cavalry Regiment.

Size is 5 and a quarter inches in diameter.

In original untouched condition, the tray itself has a a few marks and has not been cleaned.
