This Dance of Lights Costume is one of our - Deluxe Level Tahitian Dance Costume Designs with a Premium Upgrade Package.  This costume was created for a dancer with a 36" Hip measurement and a 36B/C Bra size.  

This costume features the following items:

1. One 6-Strand braided Hip Hei using a Diagonal Braiding pattern. Our Deluxe level hip hei contains two different Lighting sources LED Lights and Fiber Optic Lights .  There are approximately120 5mm LED Lights (Red, White, and Blue), which were woven into the hip hei during the braiding process,  This costume also features more than 130 End Glow Fiber Optic strands of light which were also woven into the Hip Hei during the braiding process and these lights can be set to display 1 of 16 different colors of light. 

2. The colors of Hau used to create this costume were also Red, White and Blue. 

3. Also Includes one matching Deluxe Level Dance of Lights - Lighted Anklets, to be worn on the right ankle. This beautiful Anklet features a lighted hand-cut Leather Palm Tree motif that is surrounded by a strand of soft Maribou Feathers that are attached around the edges of the Anklet.  And to top it off, there is a total of 30 LED points of light that are sewn onto the edges of the Palm Tree motif.

4. This costume also comes with a custom designed matching, short style, reversible, Pareu made from 100% White Rayon fabric (made to fit a hip measurement of 36 inches).

5. There is also a matching Bikini top that will fit a dancer whose bra size is approximately 36B/C

6.  Lastly, you have a choice of one of two of our premium level headdresses.  

      A) Headdress #1 - The first headdress is a column style headdress and it features our popular Faux Window Pane technique on the front of the headdress.  Inside the Faux Window Pane there is leather mosaic displaying the emblem that is found on the official Flag of French Polynesia.   The beautiful emblem is made out of small hand cut pieces of Leather. The back of the headdress has a corded lacing closure.  The interior of the headdress has a 2 1/2 inch fully padded strip around the base which makes the headdress extremely comfortable to wear.

      B) Headdress #2 - The second choice of headdress is an extra largeslightly oval shaped flat style headdress that again features our Faux Window Pane technique.  Inside the Faux Window Pane is a unique, stylized leather inlay depicting a two palm trees and ocean waves made using beautiful embossed Red and Blue Metallic leather inlayed into a background of soft White leather.

Both headdresses contain between 150 - 180 points of light.

In all, this costume contains close to 500 points of lights all of which are battery operated, so you are free to move anywhere you want during your performance.

All of our costume designs are made using the traditional methods for creating Ori Tahiti dance costumes, except for a few new processes that were needed to accommodate the addition of lights.
