Nansen’s Farthest North By Fridtjof Nansen Two Volumes 1898. Two hard cover volumes with shelf wear. Cloth-covered boards with staining and foxing to cover, grazing to corners and edges and fraying to spine ends. Some areas of cloth have also worn away along spine creases - see photos - and board hinges loose. Both volumes have a lean on their spines. Volume 1 has some spotting on the edge - see photos.

First and last few pages in both books have heavy foxing. Pages have light age tanning and some have smudges here and there at the edges. Pages are otherwise clean and in good condition with sound hinges. Illustrated throughout with black and white images and maps. Overall condition is good throughout.
