For sale today 





Fisher 100 Unit 1 (Serial No. 10051-A) Work Done:



Tested tubes; 5V4 rectifier missing, one 6L6 weak.



 Supplied 5V4 and installed the good output tubes

from Unit 2.



Removed improper power supply wiring; rewired correctly.



Replaced electrolytic cathode bypass capacitor, all



 paper/tubular capacitors, and one power supply



resistor.



Swapped fuse cap and replaced missing power fuse.



Replaced cracked neon pilot lamp.



Cleaned controls and switches.



Removed chassis dust and dirt as best as possible.



Cleaned external surfaces.



Supplied missing tube shields (2).



Tested power output into 8-ohm resistive load: 23 watts



 just before clipping level.



Ran several hours as a “burn-in” check.



Notes:

 Installed a Nichicon Fine Gold




capacitor in the cathode bypass role.



The supplied fuse cap was not compatible with the



 unit’s fuse holder with a fuse installed.





Fisher 100 Unit 2 (Serial No. 10971-A) Work Done:



Tested tubes; 5V4G rectifier missing, others okay.



 Supplied 5V4G and installed one good 6L6GB tube



from Unit 1, supplied the other 6L6GC.







Removed all power supply wiring, filter capacitors,



 broken power resistor assembly, and substantial tar



which had leaked from the output transformer; rewired



 correctly.

Replaced four filter capacitors (originally two per can),



 electrolytic cathode bypass capacitor, all



paper/tubular capacitors, and six power resistors.







Replaced cracked fuse holder, broken auxiliary



 receptacle, and damaged power cord.



Cleaned controls and switches.



Removed chassis dust and dirt as best as possible.



Cleaned external surfaces.



Supplied missing tube shields (2).



Supplied missing top cover screws (6).



Tested power output into 8-ohm resistive load: 18 watts



 just before clipping level.



Ran several hours as a “burn-in” check.



Notes:

Installed a Nichicon Fine Gold capacitor in the cathode



 bypass role.






 6L6 or 5881 (industrial grade 6L6) tubes installed.
