This Dance of Lights Costume is one of our - Basic Level Costume Designs with a Basic Upgrade Package. This costume was made to fit a dancer whose hip measurement is between 33 - 34 inches.
This costume features the following items:
1. One 4-Strand braided Hip Hei using a Diagonal braiding pattern. Our Basic Level hip hei contains two different Lighting sources. This costume's Hip Hei contains approximately 80-100 5 mm LED Lights (Lights are Purple and Chartreuse), which were woven into the hip hei during the braiding process, This costume also features 130 End Glow Fiber Optic strands of light which were also woven into the Hip Hei during the braiding process. The Fiber Optic lighting system can display up to 40 different lighting modes and colors.
2. The colors of Hau used to create this costume are Purple and Chartreuse Green.
3. This costume also Includes one matching Dance of Lights Deluxe Level - Lighted Anklet, to be worn on the right ankle. This beautiful Feathered Anklet features a leather hand-cut mosaic motif of a Sea Turtle and displays between 20-30 points of light .
4. This costume also comes with a Basic Upgrade Package which consists of one custom designed, short style, reversible, Pareu (purple and Chartreuse Palm Tree print fabri on one side and a Lime Green and Chartreuse Tie Dye print fabric made out of 100% Rayon Challis). The Pareu has a sculpted hem with two bow shaped ties in the top two corners. This Pareu was made for a dancer with a hip measurement of 33-34 inches.
5. We will custom make a matching Bikini top that will fit your measurements. Buyer will have a choice as to the actual design of the bikini Top. This will increase the handling time of your purchase by 3 days.
6. Lastly, this costume comes with a beautiful Lighted Floral Crown Lei head piece.
7. This costume also includes a complimentary matching pair of 15 inch i'is.
In all, this costume contains close to 280 points of lights all of which are battery operated, so you are free to move anywhere you wish during your performance.
All of our costume designs are made using the traditional methods for creating Ori Tahiti dance costumes, except for a few new processes that were needed to accommodate the LED and Fiber Optic lighting.
