Antique / Edwardian opening vent cover for fresh air or possibly heating duct. I believe it is made in zinc with a brass fist clenching a bar handle.

It has the Birmingham Coat of Arms "For Sanitary Specialities" and the French badge states "Ville de Paris"

"Gold Medals for Bodin's Patents"

A nice original item measuring 24cm wide x 19cm tall x 150cm deep.

A great item circa 1902, which was when the Birmingham "Poor Mans Hotel" was built in the Digbeth area.

Nice item in excellent condition, I doubt if the pale green paint is original, but it still looks great.
