Welcome to the You've Got 10 series. If you have a super busy schedule you may miss a workout thinking that it's not worth it if you can't do at least 30 mins. The fact is, consistency trumps intensity. Fitting in even a 10 minute workout is better physically and mentally, than wishing you would have worked out and going to bed frustrated with yourself. These workouts are short and sharp. They get a lot done in a short amount of time. Even if you have a lot on - You've got 10!!!

THE SET INCLUDES:

Abs (11): hit your core from all angles with this no equipment laying abs workout

Back & chest (14): use a small ball and light weights to chisel your back and chest. Finish with extensions and push ups.

Biceps (12): light weights is all you need for this multi angle arm segment. Use the ball for lower body engagement too.

Glutes (13): sculpt your butt from all angles in all 4s position. There’s larger range of motion as well as pulses for a big burn.

Hamstrings (13): use just your body weight and then the ball to intensify all 4s hamstring exercises. Lots of squeezes and extensions in this one.

Inner Thighs (13): a standing inner thigh workout with variations in wide plie as well as inner thigh raises and extensions.

Outer Thighs (12): a side lying workout with raises and extensions at various angles to target that saddle bag area.

Quads (12): a standing barre quads workout with turn out and parallel barre squats, water skis and long lever raises.

Shoulders (11): start equipment less and finish with weight to burn out your shoulders with easy to follow combinations.

Triceps (12): stay in a kneeling tucked position to engage the lower body while using light hand weights for the triceps. Lots of single and double extensions, raises and squeezes.

About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. I have worked in the diet and fitness industry as an instructor and personal trainer for most of my career and have created close to 850 workout videos to bring my passion for exercise to you! What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time. These workouts will hit all those trouble spots and best of all you don't even need to wear shoes to do them! Hi, my name is Linda and I have been a fitness enthusiast all my life! I have worked with nutrition and personal training for many years and I love helping people reach their exercise goals! I have worked in the health and fitness industry in one form or another for my entire career amongst which, I owned a personal training business, which eventually turned into Workout DVD World! I instructed barre style workout classes in my home town of Perth, Western Australia, and then progressed to creating an ever-growing video library of my own fusion style workouts, under the banner of Barlates Body Blitz, which can be purchased through the Barlates Body Blitz category of my Ebay store. 

I have tried gyms and outdoor Boot Camps, but I definitely prefer to exercise in the comfort of my own home. That way you can workout without having to worry about anyone watching you! It also means you have no excuse not to exercise, cause you don’t have to waste time driving anywhere! I have hundreds of workout videos in my collection and am constantly adding to them.

The great thing is that you never have to outgrow the workouts! As your fitness level increases you can either buy a more advanced workouts or simply add some dumbbells and/or ankle weights to your favorite videos to make them more intense! The fact is that the moves that really work rarely change! I even have some old Cindy Crawford videos from the 80s, which are just as effective as some of the latest workouts on the market. 

Working out is my favourite hobby – and a pretty healthy one I think! I am sure once you buy your first workout video you will never look back and you will definitely want more and more!
