Coin is in lower condition being well circulated.  It offers a near to full rim on both sides

but not quite there.  Date and mint is full and sharp.  It offers a nice original color and is

problem free.  Just honest wear.

The 1853-O is far less available than the 1853 counterpart.  Its mintage is close to 1/3

of the Philadelphia mint issue.  Strangely its price is about the same,  suggesting a bit

of a sleeper.
