Matching set of six
Pembury pattern
sterling silver handled
knives from
MAPPIN & WEBB
Four of them are
hallmarked for
1973 and two have
hallmarks
for 1977.
They have ‘Trustworthy’
stainless
steel blades.
All six are in the same
Pembury
design and look so
similar when
altogether you can’t
pick there
is any age gap
between them.
They are small knives
and so
presumably are for
dessert, or fruit
perhaps or even pate but
the
blades have a sharp
edge.
CONDITION
In very good vintage condition
with few signs of age or use.
Can’t see any nicks out of the
blades, even with a jewelers
loop.
Normal surface marks to the silver
handles as would be expected but
no dings or dents.
DIMENSIONS
Each knife measures approximately:
18cm (7 1/8") long
