A small 2 3/4 inch tall light AMBER colored rectangular-shaped antique OPIUM tablets bottle.  This bottle is embossed on the base and it has the ORIGINAL paper label on one side, the ORIGINAL paper label on the top,  and it comes still partially wrapped in the ORIGINAL paper wrapper that is also labeled.  The label mentions "OPIUM" but as is clearly seen in the picture, the bottle is EMPTY, it has NO contents.  This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to the  early 1900's.

This is a small BIM embossed Sharp and Dohme bottle, but held 100 powdered opium pills.  It is hard to find these old bottles with original labels on them as very few survived the elements of time with paper label intact.  This one survived not only intact, but still partially covered in wrapper which helped preserve the bottle and explains the excellent mint condition it is incheck it out!
