Author Biography

Elizabeth Hauris is an award winning author, living history expert, and home education veteran parent of 18 years. Armed with a deep love of child led learning and a passion for marginalized history Elizabeth founded History Unboxed LLC in 2016 and has grown from a micro start up to an international educational resource to assist families everywhere in kindling the spark of life long learning. Matt Maley is a working artist with over twenty-five years in the fields of illustration, design and sculpture. He also teaches after-school cartooning classes, and incorporates his love of history, science and the environment into much of his work. Matt creates exceptional learning resources exclusively for History Unboxed(R), contributing to the complete, multi-sensory learning experience. Matt lives in New Paltz, NY with his wife, daughter, six chickens, one dog and a cat (when she's around).
