Jacob Jordaens (Antwerpen 1593 – 1678) war das erste von elf Kindern des Leinenhändlers Jacob Jordaens und seiner Frau Barbara van Wolschaten.

Ausgezeichneter Druck auf Bütten mit Wasserzeichen, mit Rand um die Plattenkante, unten mit Rand um die Einfassungslinie, minimal angestaubt und gebräunt, stellenweise leicht fleckig, Knicke an den Ecken, teils hinterlegte bzw professionell geschlossene Randläsuren/Einrisse zumeist am weißen Rand, professionell geschlossene Löchlein, kleine Dünnstellen, hinterlegte Fehlstellen an den oberen Ecken.

Jacob Jordaens (Antwerp 1593 – 1678) was the first of eleven children of the linen merchant Jacob Jordaens and his wife Barbara van Wolschaten.

Excellent impression on laid paper witho watermark, with margin around the platemark, at bottom with margin around the borderline, minimally shop-soiled and browned, partly slightly foxed, kinks at the corners, partly backed/professionally closed tears at the edges/tears mostly at the white margin, professionally closed minimal holes, small thin places, backed defective places at the upper corners.
