Blade Making process:
1.The balde was made of T10 steel in Maru structure,it was Fully hand forged,hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional method of sword making.
2.The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness and flexibility of the balde for real use.
3.Bo-hi (blood groove) is added to each side of the blade,lighten the blade ,also balance it to achieve optimal performance. (No HI will be good for heavy cutting,If do not want the Bo-Hi, contact us to customize for you).
4.The blade comes with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung and it will be signed according to your requirements.(pls contact us through ebay message if you want to sign the DATE or NAME on the Tang)
5.The blade has been Fully hand polished with more than 15 process hand sharpening work in the most traditional Japanese craftmanship way.It is strong enough for the bamboo cutting.
6.Tsuka(Sword handle)
The Tsuka is made of high quality WHITE wood.Two Mekugi (peg) was nailed to secure the full tang of the sword,the sword can be disassembled by picking up the two Mekugi (peg).
7 .Habaki:
The habaki(blade collar) is made of high quality brass
8.Saya(Sword Scabbard)
The saya is made by high quality white wood and put them through hacking,slotting,gluing,polishing and shaping treatment,and design proper degree of tightness for the sword blade to enter and out.
