This lot is from a stash I purchased from Pearl art on canal st alongside Jean  Michel Basquiat.  We would exchange supplies whenever either of us were short in the middle of the night as we lived a few blocks  from each other. These were about 90% of the quality that could be purchased in the eighties but probably higher than anything available today. Especially since most of the red sable comes from Russia.
Regarding the quality these watercolor brushes come from the same manufacturer which supplies The solo Horton brand which us simply an American re distribution of several European manufacturers and thus identical in packaging and manufacture.
