Recently, Gertrude Vanderbilt's studio was liquidated, and it contained some of her clothing. I was lucky enough to get 2 two dresses and a handbag.

There's a label inside Henry Bendel.

The bust is open, so it's kind of hard to say what size the bust is, It's approximately 33 inches measured around the inside from the zipper around the front to the back again. The waist measures 25 - 26 inches. Inside the dress there is a under dress made out of purple velvet. That's very short and the hip is measured at 34 inches, but this could be removed because the rest of the dress has basically a free hip size because of all of the fabric.

There are some spots in the front of the dress and some slight color variation to the fabric surface. This has a metallic sheen to it I think it's partially made out of metal. I would call this a liquid champagne silk lame.
