This elegant tree has small fluffy flowers and are typically white or cream, from June right through to August. The flowers are rich in nectar and so are great for the garden. The foliage is often used in cut flower arrangements as it adds a stunning contrast with cut flowers and the long lasting cut foliage provides a wonderful fresh scent.

Commonly knows as the Cider Gum Tree it has proven to be an outstanding ornamental tree, often used on patios but it can be planted anywhere in the garden if you prefer for striking landscaping effects.

This plant does prefer full sun and well drained soil and it is drought tolerant and you can prune to shape in late Spring or early Summer.

Hardy to -15C.
