Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum) is a medicinal thistle used in traditional herbal preparations. Its seeds help maintain normal liver functions responsible for digestion and cleansing of the body. Thistle has valuable phytochemicals such as silymarin, quercetin, apigenin and triterpenes. Silymarin is a complex of plant-derived compounds that is characterised by a very broad spectrum of action - it contributes to maintaining the liver in a healthy condition, and has a protective and regenerative effect on liver cells. Silymarin has strong antioxidant properties. Vitaler's Milk Thistle contains 60 vegan capsules, which translates to 60 days of supplementation. The formula is standardised to an extract of 350 mg with 80% silymarin per capsule.
