This is a rare "Grillo Grillo" folding phone made by Italter of Italy.

The "Grillo" (=cricket in Italian) was named after the ringtone that sounds like a cricket's chirp.

This push-button model was created as a successor to the dial model designed by Richard Supper and Marco Zanuzzo in 1966.

Normally kept face down, it can be lifted up to make a call when the phone rings.

It is not only for practical use, but also for interior decoration.

It is very rare that the box is still intact.

There are scratches and scuffs on the entire unit, and the outer box has partial tears and stains. The phone works fine for incoming and outgoing calls. Please note that this is a vintage item and is not guaranteed to work.
