For sale is an official Japan-imported Godzilla poster. This poster was produced by Kodansha under license from TOHO, is not a original vintage poster. This is NOT a cheaply printed copy like the many that plague the market, it's an officially licensed reprint ideal for collectors!
The size of this poster is B2 (~19.7" x 27.8"). It is a folded poster, so it has notable fold lines throughout. The poster is in great condition, but may have minor edge wear/dings or minor surface wear. No pin holes or tears, while listed as pre-owned I don't believe it's ever been hung/mounted.
These reprint posters are sometimes sold directly by TOHO dealers, distributed as prizes, obtained as bonuses from magazines to limited DVD sets, or distributed at limited time events. I don't know exactly how this specific poster was originally distributed, but it was exclusive to Japan and can be hard to track down.
This poster will be shipped flat with very rigid board to ensure no chance of bending in transit. I'm a collector myself, I know how important it is to maintain the condition of collectables and how devastating it is when they arrive damaged. Rest assured I treat my Japanese goods with the upmost care when packing and shipping them, to ensure they arrive the same condition as the pictures show.
