Norfolk In Records started life as a Bricks & Mortar shop that traded in vinyl records - Established in 1997 our doors opened to the public and every day would be an exciting journey of discovery - sharing our love of vinyl records with our customers we would purchase anything from entire collections to specialist rareties.

The shop ceased trading after 20 years and over that time a vast collection of vinyl was purchased and stored and we still have a huge collection of eclectic music to release from our buying history.

Every record is placed through a strict quality control and grading process - visually inspected in natural light with a magnifying lens pro cleaned then photographed and listed for sale

We are also partners with one of the largest house clearance companies in the UK with a license to exclusively access all of their unprocessed vinyl records and that leads us as passionate record collectors to a stream of quality untouched collections that we pass on to our customers

Listings are updated weekly and every genre of music is catered for and there is no predicting what treasures will appear next!

Correct Grading is the most important aspect to any record collector and it is what we class as our most important job

Here at Norfolk In Records, our team of dedicated staff are all collectors who care passionately about Vinyl Records and understand the importance of an accurate grading system

Once a record has been play-tested, visually inspected, and then had its final pro clean along with sleeve and inner if applicable it will be placed into our temperature-controlled secure filing system ready for dispatch

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet, or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is a very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good Plus: This record has clearly been played before, but has only a moderate reduction in sound quality, despite a possible slight loss of shine and some surface marks. The cover shows signs of typical wear and tear, such as small stickers or light ring marks.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from issues like folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Our postage in the UK is always free and will be sent via Royal Mail on the same day of purchase (if before 2 pm)

Your purchase will arrive in a dedicated professional highest quality vinyl record mailer plus your record will be sealed in a 12" anti-static professional grade collectors sleeve
