A 6 1/4" tall rectangular-shaped beautiful dark COBALT BLUE colored antique patent medicine bottle.  The label on this bottle is a copy of a label on a Wampole’s bottle that we have had for many years. The cobalt blue color, the Wampole embossing, and the cannabis label with the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act disclaimer all make for a great looking antique bottle, a bottle that there will never be enough of until now.  The label on this bottle states "1000 COMPRESSED TABLETS CANNABIN COMP".  This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating well over a century old.

A nice blue color.   The label on this bottle goes on to say ... "An ounce of tablets contains 18 grs.  CANNABIS  INDICA  EXT. .... EACH TABLET CONTAINS Cannabis Indica Ext., 1-10 gr. ... Guaranteed under the Food and Drugs Act of June 30, 1906 ... MANUFACTURED BY HENRY K. WAMPOLE & CO. ... PHILADEPLPHIA, -- U.S.A."  It is hard to find antique bottles that lists CANNABIS, Cannabis Indica as an ingredient.   Today we know Cannabis as Marihuana / MARIJUANA.  Usually if you can find an antique bottle that contained cannabis in it, it was just a small part of the ingredients.   But in this case and what is so significant about this one is the PRODUCT is CANNABIS, actually "Compressed Tablets of CANNABIN COMP",  tablets that were made from the extract of CANNABIS INDICA.   In this instance, even without the label the NICE BLUE color make this a desirable bottle, check it out!
