VINTAGE MINIATURE PUTZ TOY

Adorable vintage hand carved miniature putz goose toy measuring 2" long by 1-1/4" in height. Dating 1940s, and probably an Erzgebirge cottage industry piece, it is not marked, but made in Germany.

Condition is good with minor play wear and an old faint repair on the neck - finished on both sides, it sits flat for display - shape reminds me of a Guinea Hen. Think she would be a fun addition to any farm, barnyard, train or Christmas decoration!
