Manufactured in FOCAL's manufacturing facilities, high quality French flax is sandwiched between two thin layers of fiberglass for this membrane. The lightweight sandwich is characterized by a natural sound without coloration as well as a rich reproduction in the midrange and precise bass beats.

 

Flax Evo delivers further innovations such as the new TAM tweeter: derived from the state-of-the-art tweeter of the Utopia M series, the inverted dome with M-Profi le ensures a wider beam angle. The patented Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) surround is used on Allen loudspeaker components and helps to reduce unwanted resonances and enable a clean, neutral mid-range reproduction with very low distortion.
