Ambrose had 5 round wins on his way to the 2004 championship.

There were two seperate production runs of the 2004 model. 4000 were produced in 2004 prior to Ambrose winning the 2004 Championship and 4250 Championship Editions were released in 2005. Main differences between the two models being the wording and pictures on the display box and some minor sponsor/decal changes on the model.

The 2004 #1 has been stored away for over 16 years and never formally displayed. It was taken out of the box to show you exactly what’s on offer. Photos show the model displays fine, but for those not in the know the Ambrose 2003 - 2005 models were plagued with manufacturing defects, mainly misaligned doors and paint rash. The rear L/H door window sits out about a millimetre and there’s rash on the roof and a scattering of lite rash in a few other areas when looking from certain angles under a bright light. Price reflects known flaws. If considering buying from another seller, ask them about the paint on their model, good chance it’ll have its issues. I’ve owned over a couple of handfuls of these, a lot have had paint imperfections.
