NRF offers a wide range of receiver driers. All NRF receiver driers and accumulators are sealed and Helium leak tested. The average desiccant filling of NRF receiver driers and accumulators is 60 gr to assure long life and proper separation of harmful moisture. The driers are of course sealed packed to prevent them to age before being mounted.

NRF offers a competitive range of more than 260 high quality receiver driers. The range has a car park coverage of 65% covering approximately 1500 OE references.

The receiver drier is a filtering unit located on the high-pressure side of the AC loop between the condenser and the expansion valve. The receiver driers’ primary function is to receive and store some liquid refrigerant from the condenser. The receiver drier dries the refrigerant, because any moisture in the system has bad influence on the compressor oil and the functioning of the components, filters out contamination particles and stores liquid refrigerant.

Important for maintenance! The drier always must be replaced when the system has been open for a longer time period (1 hour). Also must be replaced when compressor, condenser or expansion valve is replaced.
