Example 1：M3*10mm for through-hole, refers to the internal thread diameter of 3mm, the total length of 10mm,, through the teeth refers to the whole aluminium column with internal teeth. Screw can penetrate the aluminium column

Example 2：M3*20mm, means that the depth of the internal threads at both ends is 8 mm (8+8=16mm), but the total length is 20mm, so the screw is unable to penetrate the aluminium column.
