Birmingham Edwardian Shoe Horn 1911 Sterling Handle Monogram "B" R.U.+Co

Very nice older edwardian period shoe horn.

Has date letter M for 1911.Birmingham anchor mark.

Has lion Sterling silver mark.

Maker mark,R.U.+ Co. ,not sure if its Robert Urquhart?research needed.

Monogrammed B on handle.Small mark on blade,"Steel."

Measures 8 1/2 inches long.

Condition:

Very nice overall condition.Sterling silver handle in nice condition.

Has some light use,but no damage or cracks.

The steel heel blade has a few spots where the chrome has lightly 

given way to light corrosion.(see pics) couple spots.

Overall still a nice 100+ year old shoe horn with sterling silver.

Maker needs research.
