A fine antique ironstone 9.25" diameter plate dating from c1830's.  It is transfer printed with a scene of Nuneham Courtenay in Oxfordshire and is part of the Wild Rose Border series.  The printing is crisp and sharp.

The plate is in very good antique condition free from any chips, cracks or crazing. There are stray blue ink marks on the reverse of the plate including a particularly large dark stain near the rim.  As these are normally unseen they do not really detract.

A very clean antique plate that displays really well.
