This is a very good condition Alienware X17 R1 which was used for light gaming (e.g Fortnite and Call of Duty) and some light machine learning projects during grad school. This laptop was primarily kept at home and only taken outside of the house maybe ~20-30 times. There are some tiny paint chips towards the corners in the front right and back right (see the included pictures above), but is otherwise in excellent condition.

This laptop has the Cherry MX keyboard along with the 4K 120HZ screen that has adaptive sync. This particular laptop has the i7-11800H CPU and RTX 3080 16GB. The laptop also comes with the following installed:

- Kingston Technology HyperX Impact 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 SODIMM (Kit of 2) Memory HX432S20IBK2/32
- SK Hynix Gold P31 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD (Brand New SSD I've included with this laptop)
- GPU is pasted with Thermalright TFX
- CPU is pasted with Thermalright silver king Liquid Metal (79 W / mk)
- Memory chips, VRMs, Mosfets and chipsets are pasted with TG-PP10

The original charger is included and it is also packaged in its original packaging as seen in the pictures above. Only shipping to buyers living in the US.

NOTE: I have included a video in the Imgur link below showing that everything works. Lights, touchpad and speakers are all in excellent condition and working perfectly.

Previous buyer returned it because they thought the trackpad didn't work when in fact they didn't follow the instructions to reinstall the drivers. Everything works once all the drivers are installed from,

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/alienware-x17-r1-laptop/drivers

Whenever you do a fresh install of Windows on these Alienware laptops, the OS by itself does not have the drivers for all the devices to work out of the box. This is specific to Alienware products since they like to use components that require very specific drivers. Specifically, the Intel HID-Event-Filter-Driver is needed for the physical click action to work on the trackpad. When you do a full reinstall of Windows, the physical click action will work once that driver is installed. The physical click will not work until the driver is installed by you the user, but a soft tap still works to click things on screen until you have the proper drivers installed. Same thing goes for the keyboard and touchpad lights. Those will only work as seen in the video once the Alienware Command Center software is installed.

If you want to do a clean reinstall, you can follow the guide here

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000123667/how-to-download-and-use-the-dell-os-recovery-image-in-microsoft-windows

Because of the previous customer's complaints, I have decided to do a clean reinstall and setup a "Temp account" which has all the drivers preinstalled as seen in the video above. Feel free to use this account and change the username and password. The default password is "password", no quotes. If you are not comfortable reinstalling drivers then just use this account. Otherwise, I have included an imgur video above showing that everything is working. I will not accept returns for a customer's inability to install drivers. If you choose to reinstall the OS and delete the existing user account, you will be responsible for reinstalling drivers. I have given video proof that everything works once the drivers have been properly installed and also described above where to find the drivers and the recovery image if you choose to go down that route.
