The vegetable-tanned leather is churned with ground tree bark and river stones for weeks to make the hide resilient to dirt, water, and daily wear and tear. It features pretty contrast stitching, too.
The mule styling of the n096 shoes, with it's open-back heel, is hand stitched with traditional shoe-making techniques and thicker thread for a more robust and long-lasting shoe, and gives the El Naturalista offering an unmistakable artisan's finish, with an undulating strap arched over the foot.
