Furick Jazzy 10 Ceramic Cups - TIG Welding Accessory

The Jazzy 10 ceramic cup kit comes with 2 ceramic cups and 1 spare screen diffuser. 

This kit is ideal for TIG welding and is perfect for mild steel and for getting a reliable spread of gas shielding. The mesh in the cup is ideal for focussing the gas to allow for smoother and more direct gas flow. The weld pool is better shielded using a ceramic cup- this is critical when welding stainless steels, titanium or nickel-chromium based superalloys. 

The Furick Jazzy 10 ceramic cup kit can handle 135 amps DC with 3/32- it is compatible with torches in the 17,18 and 26 adaptor kit. Unfortunately this kit is not recommended for AC. 

Ceramic cups can be used to replace standard collet heads and improve the spread of gas, when welding stainless steels, titanium or nickel-chromium. This improves the shield around the weld pool. These Furick cups allow for precision gas coverage around your welds. The mesh in the cup reduces any potential turbulence and potential weld contamination. All of this means tighter precision welds and an easier line of vision as the tungsten can stick out further. 

A wide range of shapes and sizes are on offer from Furick, these include the 'normal' collect body and range up to large gas lens collet bodies. These usually come in a 'porcine pink' colour but can also be white. 

Durability is a key factor- in comparison to glass cups the durability of ceramic cup is much higher. Ceramic cups have a better crack resistance. 

Cost of ceramic cups is much less than glass cups, the reliability of the gas flow and less turbulence means they are worth the investment.
