At that time, I bought it online from a store in Hokuriku that sells many Randall knives.

It was dirty after being used for camping and barbecues, so I polished it with 2000 grit to remove the dirt.
The walnut is coated with carnauba wax and the blade is coated with camellia oil.
It has not been polished to a mirror finish.
The blade is also sharpened
No blade spills
There is no damage to the walnut handle.
There is no rattling at the base.
