•This Crayfish will be shipped in "Cool Shippers" which are foam insulated, and kept cool with reusable Gel ice packs, and heavy, This being considered among other things puts this purchase at what we believe to be a reasonable price! These cool shippers are essential in order to keep the crayfish alive, and stress free during the shipping process!

• Orders placed by 10AM EST Monday - Thursday will ship same day, with orders being placed after the cut-off time shipping the next day. (Orders placed after 10AM EST on Thursday will ship the following Monday.) Holidays May Have An Affect On Shipping Times/Schedules As Well!

• Do not let them set out on your porch, or at your post office for ANY period of time at all. You must tend to these crayfish IMMEDIATELY after arrival. We will not be responsible for them dying as a result of being left outside in the elements, because you were not home to tend to them immediately upon being delivered.

• These crayfish will likely be brown and/or dark green in color upon arrival.

• They Will Change In Color Somewhat Over Time Depending On The Color Of The Decor That Makes Up Their Habit!

• If The Decorations That Make Up The Habitat Is Light In Color, Then The Color Of The Crayfish Will Lighten Up Over Time To Better Blend With The Environment!

• If The Decorations That Make Up The Habitat Is Dark In Color, Then The Color Of The Crayfish Will Darken Over Time Instead!

• I Have The Most Beautiful Results When Using Lighter Colored Decor Such As "Light Blue" Decorations, As Well As Light Blue Lighting In General!

• It Usually Takes 2 - 4 Weeks To Start Noticing Change In Color (In My Experience)!

• Pictures shown are a good representation of the crayfish that you will receive. However, they are not the exact ones that you will receive!

                             ~ACCLIMATION~

• You will need to acclimate these crayfish to the temperature of their new habit "immediately" upon arrival. Let them float inside of their individual bags inside of the water of the habit for at least 25 minutes, before fully introducing them into it!

• If acclimated correctly, then you shouldn't have any issues after turning them loose inside of their new habitat. If they are not properly acclimated before turning them into their new habitat, then they will likely die of shock within a few hours, to a few days!

•Crayfish are restricted from being shipped into PA. So Please Do Not Try To Purchase This Product If Your Address Is Located Within The State Of PA. If You Try Anyway, Then Sorry, But Your Order Will Be Rejected, & Cancelled Immediately!

• Do your research on how, & what you should be feeding these crayfish, in order to keep them as healthy as possible!

• Not recommended that you include these crayfish inside of a habitat that also contains slow moving fish, or other slow moving creatures, because they are VERY WELL EQUIPPED when it comes to hunting/killing their prey. They will likely kill, and eat anything that they are able to catch in their large pinchers/claws!

• Water temperatures must be below 65 degrees, otherwise these crayfish May prematurely molt, which may kill them. Do your research on how they are to molt in order to understand the process so you are prepared for when it does happen.

• These crayfish will likely fight amongst each other, and even kill and eat one another if they do not each have an adiquit place to hide and make their home. So if they are all housed together inside of a small environment, or in an environment that doesn't have adiquit housing to suit them all comfortably, then you can expect them to compete against one another for realestate which will result in them killing one another.

• Do your research on how to care for these Crayfish, and be sure that your habitat is suitable for the number of crayfish that you wish to obtain before purchasing them. We are not responsible for any casualties that are a result of unpreparedness, or a lack of proper housing/habitat! Our job is to get 1 Live Crayfish to your door step. From that point on, it will be up to you to properly maintain these critters, and keep them alive & healthy. So do not wait until they have already arrived to start preparing. You must be fully prepared to give them a caring and nurturing environment instantly upon arrival!

They're not released these animals Into the wild! Especially if they are not native to your area! Doing so is never a good idea no matter what type of animal you obtain! Also, these are living beings, and the lifespan of each individual crayfish is uncertain, and cannot be predicted. They are family farm raised, And certainly very healthy, however as I said such things simply cannot be predicted!
