Kikuhiro Maru is a woodworking chisel created by Kazuyoshi Nagaoke, a blacksmith in Sanjo, Niigata.
His work pursued the ease of sharpening and sharpness of the chisel by suppressing poor bonding between steel and soft iron.
His domestic reputation is rising and production is catching up.
