A superb and highly collectible ORIGINAL cartoon / artwork featuring Harry Greaves Jnr ' County Bowls Captain ' by Lewis Williams.

It measures 25cm by 38cm and would date from around the early to mid 1950's.

I am not sure for which publication this would have been intended nor do I have any further details on the artist Lewis Williams but clearly he was a professional artist as the work is of an exceptional standard.

It appears to be in a mix of ink, charcoal and paint and I imagine these were used especially ready for its use in a magazine or comic.

This would look great mounted and framed and is an ideal addition to any artwork / comic art / Bowls collection etc.

There is a crease to the upper edge of the right hand side but otherwise just some light general paper ageing and with the central area in very good condition.
