Sheikh was unable to complete the Sharh of Sahih Muslim but he was still able to explain three quarters of the book. He explained to the Muqaddimah until the end of the chapter al-Libaas (hadith 2121 or 5529).
صحيح مسلم هو أحد أهم كتب الحديث النبوي عند المسلمين ، جمعه أبو الحسين مسلم بن الحجاج القشيري النيسابوري. أخذ في تأليفه (جمعه وتصنيفه) خمس عشرة سنة. جمع فيه مؤلفه 3033 حديثًا بغير المكرر ، واشترط فيها الصحة من ثلاث مئة ألف حديث مسموعة ، واختار منها 3,033 فعطيثًا فيها الصحة من ثلاث مئة ألف حديث مسموعة ، واختار منها قاطه قاطيا . وكتاب رواه مسلم قسمه الشراح إلى كتب, وكل كتاب قسم إلى أبواب, مرتبة على الأبواب الفقهية, وعدد كتبه 54 كتابا, أولها كتاب الإيمان وآخرها كتاب التفسير. وقد أجمع علماء الإسلام على صحته وهو ثاني الصحيحين صحيح البخاري وهو كتاب جامع للحكام ، والآدقد ولالال. وقد قام الشيخ محمد بن صالح العثيمين بشرحه.
